The Prophet Muhammad (saw) said: ‘A person who has no compassion for our children and does not honour our elders is not from us.’ (Abu Dawood and Tirmidhi)

 

 

IQRA means 'read' or 'recite' in Arabic. It is the first word of the Qur'an that was revealed and one of the primary activities of those who wish to seek knowledge.
